How to become a Cannabis Coach

Whenever people ask what I do for a living I always receive the strangest look on their faces followed by a million questions! People are so intrigued and a number of them want to know how they can do it too!

The drive to become a holistic wellness coach was motivated by the desire to help others achieve a healthier body, mind and spirit using many various modalities, plant medicine is one of them.

When Canada legalized cannabis in 2016, I knew I had to become a pioneer in this fast-growing industry. It seemed this was the perfect time to dive in and learn everything I could to share my message with others to improve their health.

So, I jumped on “The Goog”, put out feelers across many social media platforms, sent out a ton of DMs, asked a zillion questions, until I found the Wake + Bake website, created by Corrine Tobias. She helps millions of people understand how to use cannabis through this awesome blog. Corrine is a certified Health & Life coach, Yoga teacher and has published 3 cannabis cookbooks since 2013. Because of the response received from her website, she founded The Cannabis Coaching Institute

“I got emails and messages from so many people asking how I did it. That’s how the Cannabis Coaching Institute was born. I want to show anyone who feels called to work with this plant how to do it” says Corrine.

Once I read her blog post “How to become a Cannabis Coach”, I just knew I was in the right place.

This amazing online course guides students through the science and history of cannabis along with the development of a coaching practice, mindset coaching, business mastery, outreach and so much more. They draw a clearer picture of how cannabis works with an individual while taking a full-body approach to healing by combining both mindfulness and cannabis as medicine.

My goal is to break the stigma when it comes to cannabis as medicine, especially with those living with ailments such as chronic pain, anxiety, depression, diabetes, fibromyalgia, weight-loss, the list goes on. Trust comes from education and after completing my certification with CCI, I feel empowered to go out there and share my knowledge with those who need to learn the healing powers of cannabis.

If you or someone you know are interested in becoming a cannabis coach, please leave a comment or send me a message through the website. I’d be happy to answer any questions and offer guidance.
